We commit our ways to God, we ask Him to guide and reveal things to us but then we are hit by a wave of disappointment and confusion when things don’t seem to go the way we had envisioned.
‘𝘐’𝘮 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦’, we cry.
Yet Jesus said:
“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.”

“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? The Bible is clear-there will be difficult times. We live in a fallen world, we have an enemy that is dedicated to killing, stealing and destroying.
The great deception however is that instead of us to run to the One who has promised that we shall overcome and have overwhelming victory, we run away from Him and blame Him for things the devil has done to us.
The only person having fun and enjoying the above scenario is… you guessed it-The devil.
If your dad was Dangote it would be acceptable to believe that people would favour you because you were his child. You would also have no difficulty understanding and accepting that you had enemies that would come by virtue of the fact that you were his child. It would be on par for the course.
In fact, when an enemy raises his head it would be expected that you would run to your father for advice and strategies to deal with this threat.
𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘰 𝘏𝘪𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦?
God wants us to operate with Him from a place of intimacy and knowing. Knowing that He has got our back and He will equip us with all that we need to be overwhelmingly victorious.
It’s time to come back.
It’s time for honest conversations with Your Father.
It’s time to bring down the walls.
Let Him give you his perspective.
Let Him share strategies with you that will make you victorious.
